The Napa County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public’s help in finding a parolee at large, a man they want to question in connection with several robberies in Napa and American Canyon.

Investigators want to interview Bryan Klingler, 31, about robberies the past few weeks at Jamba Juice, Subway, Baskin-Robbins and Quizno’s, all in Napa. They also want to talk to Klingler about Tuesday’s robbery at Country Creamery in American Canyon, sheriff’s Lt. Tom Commander said.

Detectives also believe Klingler may have knowledge about the same type of robberies in Vacaville, Fairfield and Benicia, Commander said.
In all the robberies the thief entered the business and attempted to buy a small item. When the store clerk opened the cash register, the man reached over the counter and grabbed money from the register, Commander said.

He then fled the business on foot.
Klingler is described as, white, 5-foot-9, between 150 to 180 pounds, with a shaved head and numerous tattoos on both his legs and arms.

Authorities consider him to be armed and dangerous and caution anyone about approaching him. If anyone has information about his whereabouts, they are asked to call Napa Police at 253-4451. Anyone with information about the Country Creamery robbery is asked to call Napa County Sheriff’s detective Chris Carlisle at 253-6030.

" Nice arm piece...for identifying I mean, very difficult in this weather to hide your tat that extends onto the hand.
Where was this guy paroled to? Known associates listed on his record? May want to check social networking websites.

If he is considered armed and dangerous...did he use a weapon during the robberies or is that too much information to let out at this point? "

" Note the receding hairline and bald spot...no wonder he shaves. Not a slam, just an observation. "

" Overall, I think it is a pretty identifying picture, if I saw him I could recognize him from it. This guy obviously wants to go back to prison. I could be wrong but I don't think he has shown any weapons or anything like that. He is too smart for that, he knows he will get alot more time for using a weapon. Just for info., when I had my store, I NEVER kept more than a certain amount of cash in it and my employees were told to do the same. That way, if you are robbed, you don't loose that much. My over amount was $100 over drawer start in bills. I was never robbed but came very close a couple of times. I know high volume stores do that to a certain extent but smaller ones are not as dilligent about it and are the most targeted and stand to hurt the most from some creep robbing them. Just a word of caution for anyone with a business if you are not already doing it! "

" I found this online...not sure if it's the same guy but would fit. First name spelled with a y though.

Bryan Klinger is the bassist for long-lived Orange Country thrash band The Fallen. "

" of course they run a picture if he is a bald guy...it makes all bald guys seem like criminals.

thanks a lot bloodagar "

bloodagar wrote on Jul 3, 2008 10:34 AM:

" I only meant that the hairline would be more noticeable if he's growing it out...which doesn't take too long.

Aren't all bald guys just a little deceptive? just kidding.

Some people are naive enough to have social networking profiles...before, during or after criminal activities, you can view their friends on most sites....plus he was just paroled, so he probably had access to computers with the internet. "

" I surely don't understand today's criminal. You're on parole, actively committing robberies, and you advertise yourself and your whereabouts on a "social networking" site? Thank goodness for video surveillance!
Good job to all concerned! "
