One Napan makes Olympic team, one just misses out

Napa's Donny Robinson was named last night to the U.S. Olympic Team, while Napa's Presley Bard missed out in her bid to make the team.

Robinson, the top-ranked BMX rider in the world. was named to the three-person team representing the U.S. in the Beijing Olympics starting Aug. 8.
Bard finished fifth in the 100-meter backstroke in swimming's Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb.

We said Good for Donny...The Bard's have done a tremendous job, and hopefully Presley will be back...in 4 years, they have rocked!

The NR should do a more complete story on this...When was the last time a Napa kid made this team? Shouldn't you follow DR Donny Robinson, and do some more coverage...this is truly exciting news!

Let's have a taste of something good other than the usual doom and gloom! "
