The Napa Police Department is on the lookout for a man who walked into Jamba Juice on Sunday and snatched some money from the cash register.

Police said the burglar — who is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a thin build, bald head and tattoos on both arms — walked into the juice store in the South Napa Marketplace Shopping Center around 10:45 a.m., reached over the counter and grabbed some money from the open cash register. The burglar was last seen running south.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact police at 257 4451.

Correction: An earlier version of this article did not list what Jamba Juice location was robbed.

" Ummmm, this article is lacking a lot of info, like exactly which Jamba got hit and yeah, a better desctiption of the person cuz I know a few white guys with shaved heads and tattoos.

Vagueness does not catch people ! "

" While it is sloppy reporting by not including which Jamba Juice was ripped off, my guess is that it is the South Napa store. It's pretty hard to run south out of the Jamba Juice in Silverado Plaza. "

" Another thought, how did he know when to hit, when that drawer was going to be left open? "

" Now I'm no Sherlock Holmes, but isn't opening the cash register necessary to complete a sale? I can't believe somebody would even ask such a ridiculous question. "

" Thanks Dan. Common sense would tell you it had to be the Jamba Juice in South Napa because you can't leave the Jamba Juice in Silverado Plaza running south. The perp would have had to run east or west to get out of Silverado Plaza. "

" Maybe it's the same thief my daughter and I saw run through an alarmed fire escape door at Wal-Mart on Friday. Sounds alot like the same guy we saw and did not get caught. There's alot of punch thieves these days and they are setting a horrible example.I hope they all get caught and rot in jail. "

" Sorry, Dan-NVR. I just saw the time on the article was 9:30am, which was before everyone posted asking which JambaJuice the article was talking about. I got misled by the inaccurate info I was presented. My Bad. "

JMB wrote on Jun 30, 2008 3:37 PM:

" My self-correction. I have been in places where the till is always left open. That's the way I read the article. I thought that the cashier maybe had left it open and turned around or walked away which raised my suspicions a bit. Sorry. "

" If we can get a better description of the tattoos may help this jerk get caught. I know 4 bald men with tattoos on both arms and one of them was with me in San Francisco all day. I know of only one person that fits this description who would be strung out and stupid enough to do this. Maybe if we can get a better description of his ink work someone may recognize this person. Just a suggestion :) "

" I can't wait to read the article about a Jack in the Box or Mickey D's getting robbed... LOL
Someone robs a safeway for money and a bottled water... someone robs a Jamba for a refreshing smoothie and cash... better watch out when you go out to lunch.
I know we are suffering from an 'economic setback', but really people! "
